What We Can Do For You
We can help walk, visit or stay with your dog no matter what your situation. Whether you work long hours, are housebound, are going on holiday or just fancy a day out with the kids, we’ll be able to help you out. Before we undertake any work, we ask to meet yourself and your canine friend to help understand your needs and requirements a little better and to make friends with the pooch. Our consultation lasts no longer than an hour, is free and provides a great opportunity for you to ask any questions about our services that you may have. All of our staff are trustworthy, local and big animal lovers! We have something to suit everybody, so get in touch!
Our dog walks are undertaken by our trustworthy staff that have had a lifetime of experience handling dogs of all shapes and sizes. We’ll pick up your dog directly from your home and won’t waste any time getting them out and into the fresh air. Where possible, we will walk them as close to your home as possible. This helps saves time and ensures the dog gets the most out of their time with us.
We take the safety of the dogs in our care very seriously and will never walk more than three dogs at a time. This enables us to keep a close eye on all the dogs in our care whilst allowing them the freedom to roam around and play.
Dog walks can be half an hour, or one hour, depending on what the dog requires. If the dog is alone for a long time during the day, it may be a good idea to book in for two half an hour slots, breaking the day up for the pooch.
As the name suggests, home visits take place at the home of the dog. This is a great option for puppies, recovering dogs, or dogs that can’t go outdoors for one reason or another. We give the dog complete and undivided attention whilst with them, feeding them, playing with them and letting them out for the toilet. As with the dog walks, the visits can last half an hour or an hour and you can book for multiple times a day. We pride ourselves on being completely flexible here at Canine Cuddles and understand that puppies, as well as needing somebody to come in and keep them company, might also need a short walk to excel all of that energy, so we can happily combine Home Visits with Dog walks.
Dog sitting is a brilliant alternative to kennels. Kennels can be loud, frightening and a confusing place for dogs to be, especially when left there for a long period of time. To ensure no dog has to go through the psychological trauma of being left in a kennel, with minimal contact from humans, we offer a brilliant dog sitting service. This service takes place at your home, a safe, comfortable and familiar environment for the dog, allowing them to relax and stay in a safe setting. We sleepover with the dog, feed them, walk them and do any other tasks that you normally do and would want to continue to do with your dog, such as any medication.
